If that's true, UK-based illustrator Hazel Bee has managed to capture the hilarious quirks that define what it means to be quintessentially British in a series of brilliant greeting cards.

After receiving positive feedback from a presentation of her drawings in the form of a children's book, she decided to take some mock-ups to a local gift shop. Things took off from there, and Hazel Bee cards are now available in shops around the UK.

From the beginning, she took measures to ensure that the materials used in the production and distribution of her products were ethically sourced and have minimal impact on the environment.
This means her witty illustrations are printed using vegetable ink on 100% recycled pulp cards and placed in biodegradable cellophane bags made from cornstarch. The envelopes are made locally from unbleached, recycled paper, and even the invoices are printed without bleaching and free from optical brightening agents.
