Get ready,Flashpoint X Porn (1997) y'all. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is heading to the Nintendo Switch this year.
With a lengthy video, Nintendo revealed that Super Smash Bros. Ultimateis heading to the Nintendo Switch on Dec. 7. We also got a look at the kind of characters we can expect in the latest take on one of the most popular fighting game franchises of all time.
Along with the usual cast of classic Nintendo characters like Mario, Link, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Bowser, and Jigglypuff, Nintendo revealed that every character who has ever been in Smashwill be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, including fan favorites who missed a game or two like Ice Climbers, Snake, Pichu, and Wolf.
And yes, this includes all DLC characters like Bayonetta and Ryu from Smash 4.
SEE ALSO: 'Fortnite' is coming to Nintendo Switch todayIn addition to the return of these characters, new characters will be joining the fray too. Inklings from Splatoonwill be playable fighters with a whole bunch of different looks and outfits. Oh and look who's finally joining the cast: Ridley.

Classic characters like Mario, Link, and Zelda have been updated to match some of their new looks and moves seen in their latest Nintendo Switch titles. Yes, this means you can play as Mario in his dapper white wedding suit from Odysseyand Link in his blue Breath of the Wildtunic.

In a lengthy video, Smashdeveloper Masahiru Sakurai explained a ton of different changes that were coming to lots of different characters, including things like cosmetic changes and improvements, new Final Smash moves, and new standard moves.
Sakurai also announced that some characters like Dark Pit and Lucina, who are similar to other fighters, are now referred to as Echo Fighters, which includes the new playable character Daisy as an Echo to Peach.

Along with updates on characters, Nintendo gave fans a look at a whole bunch of returning stages from past games, some of which have received a much-needed visual update. Plus there are new stages including one from Splatoon 2and another from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Oh and it will be compatible with GameCube controllers for all you Meleepurists out there.
